For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13

Another Milestone for Little Big Girl!

If you are my friend on Facebook you probably already read that Isabella rolled over by herself from back to belly! Momma couldn't wait to tell the world!!

We were playing on the floor as we usually do and what do you know, she just rolled on over and was so excited when she did!! I was so proud of my little angel! She rolled over a total of 4 times.  At Isabella's 6 month appointment her peditrician told us that Isabella rolling over was a milestone that she could skip, because at 6 months she wasn't trying to roll over at all. Isabella was perfectly happy sitting up and trying to stand!  Apparently skipping that milestone wasn't on Isabella's list!  Better late than never!

Here is a picture of her right before she rolled over.... ::happy tear::

Today I wanted to try/make something different. So I got my apron on (yeah, right!) and made an oreo cake. It was delish!

On a second note, Grey's Anatomy????  For those of you that watch - what did you think? I'm thinking they need to keep the script to talking only! No more singing, please!!!

So as some of you may know, I make tutus and I am proud to announce that STEP 1 of starting my small business has been completed... more news/info to come later. I'm so excited about it!

And I'm ending tonights blog with this....

Who is blind? He who can see no other world. Who is dumb? He who can say nothing pleasant about his lot. Who is poor? He who is troubled with too many desires. Who is rich? He who is happy with his lot.

Hump Day...

It's the middle of the week, thank goodness! For me, this week has gone by so slow. Which in one way is good and another way it's like, c'mon!  On another note, can not wait for the weekend to come and go so that we, my husband and I, can start working on the remodling of the house. We plan to put tile in the kitchen and bathrooms, put new carpet down, build much needed pantry, AND drum roll please....put up a fence in the back yard! The fence is much needed for Sadie and for when Izzie get's bigger she will be able go out in the back yard and play.

Today I cleaned house. Oddly enough, I enjoy it. Isabella played in her walker while mommy swept the floor then she tuckered out on me and slept for 3 and a half hours while mommy cleaned the rest of the house.

So the hubby and I are thinking about taking a little trip, to have a little get away. Where should we go?  We are going to Myrtle Beach in September and that's going to be our family vacation. Speaking of which, babies on a plane, yay or ney? Isabella will be 14 months old when we leave for that trip. Usually we drive the 12 hours, but this year we were thinking about flying this time around so it won't be so hard on Izzie.

So two questions for you tonight...
  1. Where should we go for our get away?
  2. Plane or no plane for our family vacation?

My Little Big Girl & Other Things...

So today was just another day in the Williams' house hold, nothing big or exciting. Went to go get Miss Sadie Marie groomed, wrote a 30 page paper for school; yes I am in school and oh did I mention that today Isabella turned eight months old? I can't believe it. Eight months ago today I held her in my arms for the first time. Time sure is flying by.

My Little Big Girl!

Happy Happy Baby!! Happy 8 Months Big Girl!

For today's blog, I thought I would talk about maturity/responsibility/being a grown up. Let me say this up front, this is just my opinion. I know not everyone thinks and acts like me, and for some of you that read this I'm sure you're thinking to yourselves, "thank goodness for that!" he he

Anyway, everyone has their breaking point, I'm sure. Tonight is mine! For me, I have always been one of those people that "it's three strikes and you're out!" so to speak. But for others you just may have to give them more than just three strikes, for what ever reason; best friend(s), family, or it may be that you just really care about a person so much to give them more than those three chances.

At a young age my mom and my dad taught me to say please and thank-you, be thankful for what you have and don't expect anything. Work for what you have and always be grateful; as I'm sure most of your moms and dads did. Then you have other folks that just didn't understand what the heck their parents were preaching to them about. Those people just take and take and eventually forget what the meaning of please and thank-you is and how to be grateful of what they have for those that are or WERE in their lives.

So this brings me to my earlier statement about what this blog was about;  maturity/responsibility/being a grown up. If you do not have the above instilled in your head, you do not know what it is to be mature, responsible and to be a grown up. A word of the wise; when some one does something nice for you thank them. Show them graditude. And keep it going, every time someone does something for you. When you eventually stop all together or 'forget' to say thanks, you start to expect people to do things for you, all the time. Then those people who were willing to help you before won't want to be around you and/or help you the next time around.

There are so many people that take for granted what they have and they do not realize it until it's too late. For me, I know that there has and will be people that reach that point soon, if they haven't already. Like I always say, and in most cases I'm pretty accurate, you will need me, before I need you.  But we will always need Him first!

"Do to others as you would have them do to you" Luke 6:31

Celebrating Birthdays...

Yesterday, March 27, 2011, Isabella, Jeff and myself, met up with Mamaw & Papaw Williams & Aunt Morgan at Cheddars to celebrate Papaw's birthday.

Isabella and Papaw @ Cheddars

Happy Birthday Papaw!

Loves to go out!

Speaking of celebrating birthdays, just in a few months, Isabella will be a year old. I can't believe it. She is getting so big. Mommy would love to just put a 'PAUSE' button on her, but we all know that only happens in the moves!

How did you or how do you plan on celebrating your little one's 1st birthday? Did you go all out and invite grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles, great aunts, great uncles, cousins, and closest friends? Or did you keep it intimate and just invite immediate family and closest friends?  Jeff and I are having a hard time deciding because our family is huge. As of right now, we are just thinking our immediate family and closest friends, but who knows, we may get a little crazy and go big!  What are your thoughts?

I thank my God every time I remember you ~ Philippians 1:3

I'm back!

Alot has happened since I started and ended my first blog, but I am back and will keep this one going. A friend and old church-mate of mine inspired me to start blogging again. (Thanks, Cristal!)

So my last blog ended at the last stages of my pregnancy! So here we go...

I'm happy to announce that Isabella Jean Williams was born on July 29 @ 10:14am.  She weighed 7 pounds 8.9 ounces and measured at 21 inches long. She is now 7 months; will be 8 months on the 29th of March. She has gotten so big and is learning so much. Every day she learns something new and keeps amazing us with all of her amazingness (hehe).  Please enjoy the following pictures of our little girl growing...

Isabella just a few hours old

1 Month Old

2 Months Old

3 Months Old

4 Months Old

5 Months Old

6 Months Old

7 Months Old

Since Isabella has turned 7 months old her milestones have been:
  • Wearing size 2-3 diapers
  • FINALLY fitting into 6 months clothing
  • A few commando crawls here and there towards Sadie
  • Pulling herself up when she holds onto your fingers
  • She says, "ba ba," "da da," &  "ma ma ma," and boy does she love to squeal!
  • Izzie has been on a pretty consistant schedule; going to bed @ 8pm and waking up around 8 or 9am
  • And last but not least.... NO TEETH, yet!

As a first time mom (and stay at home momma) it has been absolutely wonderful. It has been so amazing being able to stay at home with Izzie, watch her grow, develop and learn new things everyday!

I thank God every day that Jeff has a great job that supports us financially to where I do not need to work at this point in our lives. I don't know where I would be without our loving family and friends. Knock on wood ( 'knock' 'knock' 'knock' ) Isabella Jean has been the best baby. She was sleeping thru the night at 6 weeks old and has always been a happy baby. She never cries unless, she's hungry!

Easter is just around the corner!

- - -And speaking of which, on March 19, we had Isabella's Easter pictures with live ducks!

The first blog has been complete... Talk to you tomorrow!
